A new land mark for the Town of Andover. After many years of struggle, a new fire house has been built on property acquired from Edward Hamp. The building is 40 feet x 60 feet made of cement blocks with brick veneer on the front. It has three large doors 'in the front and one on the west side. The center door in the front is electrical or radio controlled. Total cost of the building construction was Two thirds of the work on the parking lot has been completed with one third to be completed in the spring at a cost of $2500.
