Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Annual Report of St. Andrews Church Carleton Place, for the Year Ended 31st December, 1887
The new and beautiful Church, will, it is expected, furnish ample accommodation to the Congregation for many years to come. Peace and harmony have prevailed; and the Sabbath School, and all the interests of the Congregation are in a fairly prospe'rous condition. During the year there have been thirty-one Baptisms, and thirty-four new Members have been added to the Church, while ten letters of disjunction have been given. While the Session has much cause for rejoicing, they have to lament the unusually large number of Deaths in the Congregation. No less than twenty Members and Adherents having been removed by death during the past year. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
