Dummodo non ludamus vana nosmet ipsos opinione, quasi ipsam poetae manum rest-i tuare nobis contigerit, nihil nos velut imma me quidem iud-ice ea res ad interiorem poetae cognitionem con/crt quam plurimum intenta mentis acie investigare, quid permit tente tam sententia quam usu scribendi et literarum ves tigiis dare olim potueril. Ita verbi gratia tractavi vs. 926 vocabula dòvloodq Moie (quod frustra defendas loco He9iodeo, Theog. 797) pag. 61 (cf. 36) post varia ten tamina proponens ne' è'xoig, quod, si non est verum, attamen probabilitate non caret, quippe quo admisso simul molesto verbo liberemur, simul e pronomine indefinito appareat non proprio ibi sed figurato sensu accipiendam esse servitutem.
