Publisher's Synopsis
Most books are written in chapters so that the reader can understand where one event ends and another begins, this book is written in hour's. As a child Prince Ami was diagnosed with maniac depression which today we know as Bipolar Disorder. In a given year, bipolar disorder affects about 5.7 million American adults, or about 2.6% of the U.S. population 18 and older, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. Within the course of 31 hour's you'll experience love, anger, joy and pain Prince Ami's way with words and vivid story telling will give you insight into the most precious and unique physical attribute of mankind "The Human Mind." Inside you'll find "The Guy On The Corner" a metaphorical tale about this guy who's battling with thoughts of good verses evil within his own mind. Think of the depiction of the angel and devil own either shoulder of the young man you'd see on cartoon sketches, which gives a vivid depiction about good versus evil. "The Guy On The Corner" is at war with his own thoughts just as everyone else. Everyday we all have to face a decision of choosing between whats right and what's wrong and for some making the best choice is easier said than done. People from all walks of life, people we encounter everyday are suffering from Bipolar Disorder people that look normal like Me & You but deep down inside lies something deeper than what our eyes can see. Although they may be smiling they could just as well be sad and only smiling to keep from crying or as 2Pac raps in the song Keep your head Up, "I'm dying on the inside but outside I'm looking fearless." There are alot of people in the world facing these issues which are only complex because of our fear to talk about them because we don't want to be looked at differently. As a people we tend to talk about one another's problems more than actually try to help and understand the problems of our fellow neighbors, co-workers and associates. Writing "And Then There Was You" is intended to show people that despite our differences we are all the same and the only way we'll be able to truly overcome them is by first acknowledging them and working towards a solution to fix it. By the time you've made it to the final hour you will have walked inside the vessels of the Author's heart and swimmed within the thoughts of his mind, without further ado I bring to you, And Then There Was You!
