Publisher's Synopsis

The book titled "Ancestries Unite" is about two families beginning with their founding ancestors, the first of which is English and came from London to settle in Virginia in 1620. His linage is traced through 10 generations through their lives and accomplishments. The second came from a village near Stuttgart Germany, his journey to Rotterdam and sailing to Philadelphia in 1749, and some time later moving from Germantown to settle in North Carolina. His progeny is followed through the lives of seven generations. Both families are united when my wife and I marry and have three daughters. It is not a genealogy, since it depicts their lives as recorded through local historical sources.
