Part I of the pamphlet is a brief overview of present law relating to depreciation, other forms of capital cost recovery, and the investment tax credit. Part II 15 a brief summary of the Administration's proposal (in H. R. 2400) and the principal alternatives to it. Part III presents an economic analysis of various methods of capital cost recovery. The Appendix is a comparison of depreciation and other investment incentives in selected foreign countries.
