However, when the determination of absolute osmotic pressure is to be considered - or in other words the relation oi concentration to pressure, these errors assume an alto gether serious aspect. And while the errors are small, and the labor of eliminating them is tedious and time consuming, still the end hoped for is worthy, or even necessary. The work herein described has been an effort to eliminate as far as possible this last error source - the manometer error factor.
