This short book introduces the microscopist to some of the basic theory and practice which will enable him to produce good photomicrographs in both black-and-white and colour. A chapter is devoted to the difficult area of photomacrography - the production of pictures at low magnifications between x1 and x20. The special problems of recording fluorescence images, and the use of instant print systems are also covered.
