Thirty-five years ago I purchased of the late William Wilkins, Esq., the copyright and copies of his translation of the four books of Vitruvius's Civil Architecture, to which is attached an Inquiry into the Principles of Beauty in Grecian Architecture, written for this work by the Right Hon.
