The Holy Month of Ramadan contains numerous blessings in addition to a wealth of virtues and merits. Truly, it is a month that cannot be accurately described. Throughout the years, we have become so preoccupied with the persistence of committing sins, that it led to the hardening of our hearts and a decrease in our spirituality.
Every year, Allah (swt) provides us with an opportunity, especially in the Holy Month of Ramadan, to ruminate and reflect over our actions. We hope that by making a sincere commitment to transform our lives, we will attain His pleasure and content. This is all due to Allah (swt) limitless mercy. Among the numerous acts of worship that is recommended for everyone to do during this month is the recitation of the daily supplications. In year 2020, during the Holy Month of Ramadan, Sheikh Abdul-Karim al-Haeri released short Arabic clips on YouTube. These clips provide a deep and detailed interpretation of each of those supplication. The words of the daily Month of Ramadan supplications may seem simplistic; however, they carry a much deeper and profound meaning. They will help us gain a much better understanding of the Holy Month as well as allow us to utilize it to its maximum efforts. I had the privilege of contacting the dear Sheikh in regard to his lectures. He then gave me the honor and permission to translate his words into English so that more people can benefit. Rather than merely reciting the supplications without gaining sufficient understanding, these interpretations allow everyone to truly ponder upon them. I sincerely pray and hope that all those who read this find some value in it.
