No 6 was well known at the time for the 6 tennis courts behind the house, which hosted all kinds of tennis competitions and social events before the war which stopped almost overnight as players enlisted to fight.

Geoffrey graduated in medicine from Melbourne University (1956).

He went on to become a child psychiatrist, being honoured in 2012 with the OAM for his work with relinquishing mothers.
