Publisher's Synopsis
In An Amorphous Diary Marjorie Orr creates her world in nature's realm with "lock and key" being......"fluent in the wind." She has poems about "opera rats" and "thugs." There is some order to the list of each day's spool as the threads she uses are made of words. For "the cursor blinks at me" and so the day goes in her diary as "the rain lifted....from the dirt to a stalk" in the "plum light and tweedy nouns." " In the poem "the windows steam" she ends with.."..a sun not yet let out," so "run gingerbread/man run for/your actions will/catch you." She muses as "truth has many faces" in poems with"some words" in "fire's embers" ...."in the glare of the truth."
