Publisher's Synopsis
The story you are about to read is loosely based on my experiences while in the military. The names have been changed to protect the innocent. Some of the people's names have not been changed to protect the guilty. This book may have the effect of changing your perception of what occurs in a military man's life while stationed stateside and overseas. The main character, London McGillicutty, is a former Air Force Combat Controller, who was crossed-trained into the Office of Special Investigations. His military achievements were, at times, eclipsed only by his mythic persona. His commanding officer in Grenada concluded he was "without exception one of the most courageous men I have ever known. He displayed a natural bravery, and a far rarer commodity, honorable valor." His life was a realization of the brutality, coupled with lingering psychological affects, of love. He dedicated the anthology of lovers to his hometown, so all might have an understanding about the truth of loving women from afar. His passion cannot replicate the experiences of those who have cohabitated with 3rd world women, but it offers a semblance of truth about loving women of foreign lands.
