Publisher's Synopsis
An old compass found in an attic by Shrutakeerti is not a regular compass. As a child, she had seen Adwaita tell tales of his expeditions. He suddenly disappears and is presumed dead. Shrutakeerti saw her mother ailing Adwaita's death every day. Shrutakeerti took Adwaita as her role model and took up Geology so that she could go on expeditions like him.
On a whim, she decides to clear Adwaita's belongings. She stumbles upon a diary with intriguing notes: a coded coordinate, a strange symbol, and a few lines in Sanskrit fascinate her. The strange symbol in the diary arrests her attention. She later sees the same symbol on a hippie bag carried by an elderly person, who comes to their doorstep looking for Adwaita.
