We can not forget either that we were fortunate in our Commanders. In wars of the people - wars, that is, that the people originate and maintain - the first step is enthusiasm. Masses must be moved and roused. Conviction mav lay the fire and kindle it, but sentiment must fan it to a ?ame and spread the blaze.
