In Mr Dundas's Abridgment many overtures are min gled with acts of assembly. To prevent mistakes arising from such a combination, all overtures (except converted into standing laws, or acted upon as such), proposed since the passing of Act 9. Assembly 1697, termed the Barrier Act, are omitted.'
