Excerpt from An Act to Consolidate and Revise the Several Acts Relative to the City of Ithaca: February 27, 1908
First ward. The first ward shall be all that part of said city bounded. On the east by a line commencing. In the north. Line of said city in the centerof the Cayuga inlet, thence; running up the center of said inlet to the center of Fifth street; southerly along the center of Fifth street to the center of C'ascad?la-street; east along the center of Cascadilla street to the center line of Park place, south along the center of Park place to thefcenter [line of Buffalo] street; west along the center of Buffalo street to the center line of Com street, and south along the center line Lof Corn street, extended, to the south line of the city.
