Publisher's Synopsis
Concern for the future of our country and how the Millennials and our grandchildren will be affected by what could be coming has motivated us to create the character of Professor Joshua Randall. His vision is to bring empirical, dialectic reasoning back to our institutions of higher learning. Through classroom discussions, Professor Randall aids his students to understand the difficult path that democracy took to become established in 1776 with the foundation of equality and equal rights. This is not insignificant. He relates that the history of mankind has been nothing more than "a boiling cauldron of violence." Professor Randall concludes that with the application of empirical, dialectic reasoning, the Millennials will be able to rescue democracy from tragedy; but it will not be easy.
