Allison Reynolds desperately wants to get into art school, but her nerves are standing in the way. Overwhelmed, she turns to Alphabet Soup, the strange concoction her Aunt Penelope showed her how to make, with the hope that whatever is on the other side of the magical portal created by the soup will help clear her mind and stir her imagination. Feeling alienated her brother, Ryan, tags along uninvited with somewhat questionable plans of his own; but when the two find themselves between a dangerous stranger and an erupting volcano, they are forced to work together if they are going to find all that has gone missing in time. Author's Note: This is Book 3 in the Alphabet Soup adventure series and while it does reference the previous 2 it can be read as a standalone.
