Alex Fakso has established himself as a street photographer and today is internationally known, both for commissioned work and also his solo exhibition, thanks to his untiring ability to experiment and always be a step ahead.
Crossing, an exhibition designed for Fotografia Europea, presented the evolution of the Alex Fakso's work. Never before published - the photographs are aggressively blended with collage, paint, and paper and transform into conceptual artworks. What results is a reflection on how modern and ancient can be merged and enhance each other even when this fusion is traumatic, forced and apparently chaotic.
