Attamen haec editio ideo magni est pretu, quia Meinekius textui adhibere potuit totum Vaticani Floren tini Veneti collationem Seilerianam, nec non cum in supple mento critico copioso nobiscum conjecturas suas nonnun quam ingeniosissimas communicaverit. Neque mirum est inde ah illo anno optimum quemque criticum quasi cer tatim de Alciphrone disputasse.
