Samples are collected and tested by the States. We are providing a summary of the data to the Environmental Protection Agency for them to use in risk assessment and in establishing residue toler ance levels. This year we expect the program to collect sam ples on 350 commodity pesticide pairs. If any sample collected vio lates the current tolerances, we immediately report this to the Food and Drug Administration for their action.
