Publisher's Synopsis
Bed making is an essential activity in land preparation. There are two basic types of beds made for farming: the sunken bed and the raised bed. Our emphasis would be on the raised bed. For optimum vegetable production, (especially using the soil as a medium of plant growth) raised beds should be used. Raised beds have many advantages which include lengthening the growing season by raising the soil temperature, it ensures early crop production, and it facilitating the drainage of excess moisture.
