Publisher's Synopsis
Ball pythons are so named because whilst threatened they roll themselves into a tight ball, tucking their head inner their coils. Young ball pythons grow approximately a foot a year for 3 years. They can stay for 20-30 years with right care.1Wild-caught snakes tend to be very harassed from capture and transport and regularly harbor a large parasite load. Captive-bred snakes tend to be extra highly-priced, but they're effortlessly available.
