This monograph includes seven chapters that detail recent advances in psychology research. Chapter One provides practical cognitive-behavioural treatment recommendations to address typical issues associated with depression and anxiety in paediatric patients with asthma, functional gastrointestinal disorders, and headache pain. Chapter Two argues that community level screening, timely diagnosis and integrated traditional medicine and traditional healing practices rooted in a given cultural and religious context are essential for the treatment of schizophrenia.
