Publisher's Synopsis
Heat transfer enhancement refers to the application of different methods to improve the rate of heating or cooling of a surface. Heat transfer enhancement in heat-exchange devices is one of the key factors affecting energy savings and compact designs in wide variety of engineering applications. There are many different methods of improving heat exchange in thermal systems. These include both passive and active techniques such as the application of magnetic fields, usage of oscillators and baffles, and employment of nanofluids as the working fluids.
