This book contains the contributions to the 4 th German–Korean Symposium "Advanced Polymeric Materials New Synthetic Routes and Applications" held at Dresden, Germany. An excellent overview of present research fields in both countries, from modification of well–known polymers to new polymer structures, from new surface modification to applications in the microsystem techniques and bio–compatibility of polymers is given.
