This CD-ROM uses the abilities of multimedia to create an environment for learning to use data to gain insight into real problems. Users interact with animations and simulations designed to help them visualize and understand abstract concepts. They view video clips from "Against All Odds" and "Decisions Through Data" for real world motivation. Real data is analyzed to reinforce newly developing skills. With the built-in statistics package, "Data DeskA", users explore data and work independently to exercise newly learned concepts. Those with access to the World Wide Web will also have the option to link directly to the Internet and connect with external Web resources.
