The proceedings of the Symposium on Acne which took place during the 20th World Congress of Dermatology in July 2002 in Paris review the current and future aspects of research, clinical entities and treatment of acne. In the foreword by Prof. John S. Strauss (Iowa City) the most important data are summarized.
