Publisher's Synopsis
The audience is quantitatively literate readers who are interested in learning about how statistics is used to solve real-life reliability problems. The goal is not to teach the nitty gritty details and the underlying theory of such analyses. Instead, the authors use real-life examples and case studies to illustrate applications of statistics with heavy reliance of data and analysis graphs so as to provide a general appreciation of the subject. Only a rudimentary and perhaps dated knowledge of some basic statistical concepts is assumed.
