The poor girl having to live through the nightmare of constant abuse from the stepmother from bell literally! The father was no better, although he wasn't abusive in my eyes he was a party to it as he never ensured his kids were safe and well but turned a blind eye. This lady is now a strong adult and is fighting the demons of her past where many of us would have cracked! This was an interesting book. It provides the reader with some good information on how to be a child advocate. It was poorly written and riddled with grammatical errors, but that can be overlooked due to the sincerity written on the pages.
