Publisher's Synopsis
Your Enemy, Your Friend is an introduction to conscious living through active participation.
The two books, FOREVER & ALWAYS, describe and explain a PRACTICAL approach to acquiring Personal Serenity and Relationship Fulfilment through a Greater Awareness and change in Perspective. Quintessentially this is a 'way of life' education based on insights designed to reveal unexpected sources of learned sabotage in our personal 'way of being' philosophy and nurtured subterfuge in our social and relationship psychologies that together compel existential distress. They do this by disrupting our capacity for developing emotionally healthy relationships with ourselves (first and foremost) and consequently with the external world - but especially with partners in traditional, conventional life-partner relationships. FOREVER- Describes HOW and WHY we gradually, unconsciously, and systematically descend into relationship disenchantment through a state of existential chaos.
- Explains the forces that hold us captive to 'way of life' principles and practices that (through our unwitting subscription to them along with a persistent belief (delusion) to the contrary) separate us from ourselves and compromise our relationship possibilities.
- Empowers us (through Emotional Sophistication) to recalibrate our 'way-of-life' trajectory so that we can achieve desired personal and relationship quality aspirations.
ALWAYS
- Explains HOW we become frustrated by perpetual, cumulative existential distress and WHY we desperately search for answers and remedies in places where they can never be found, with disappointment our only reward.
- Enables us to identify behavioural constraints (that we do not easily distinguish as such) which prevent us from acquiring more sophisticated possibilities for living.
- Empowers us to recalibrate our 'way-of-life' trajectory so that we can discover real Emotional Freedom and acquire Personal Serenity.
The series is essentially a collection of confrontations that empower us to identify, tackle and overcome the barriers preventing us from the life that we were promised and imagined possible for ourselves - but which failed to materialise because of conventional establishment indoctrination.
