Our society is being torn apart from drugs and alcohol. As a result, families, churches, and individuals are grieving as they hopelessly dredge through a nightmare that our Lord can heal. People are told 'once an addict always an addict'. Behavior modification, jails, institutions, or death are the only possible answers the world has to offer. God's grace and mercy offers salvation, and real long-lasting behavior modification through His Holy Spirit. People are sitting on the sidelines in our churches instead of actively joining the battlefront. It is thrilling to watch the Lord work in people's lives, changing them, and redeeming them. The work is the Lord's. It is a great privilege to be part of it. I pray others will step out in faith and join Him. May God's story bring you to worship Him also.
