The term non-resident as herein used means a citizen of the United States who does not reside in the state in which the question arises for decision, or in which the act complained of or relied upon was performed It does not mean an alien, or a citizen of a foreign country. The term foreign corporation means a corporation organized nu der the laws of a state or country other than the one in which the matter involved arises for settlement, or in which the act complained of or relied upon was performed. The fact that it has a place of business in the latter state does not deprive it of its character of a foreign corpora. Tion.
