Seanna is just a normal teenager, if normal teenagers use an inflatable dinghy to get to school every morning. Living on a sailboat has its advantages and disadvantages, but most of all it provides opportunities for exotic adventures such as a five week getaway to a deserted tropical paradise. Seanna and her family make the 1,000 mile ocean crossing from their anchorage in Maui to the Palmyra Atoll, smack dab in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, inhabited by millions of nesting seabirds, hermit crabs and two fearless, but lovable, shark hunting dogs. Seanna will explore the many small islets with her constant, furry companions and the young cruiser from Canada who will unintentionally, but completely capture her heart.
