Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from A d104-Book of Physics
The order in which the various branches of the subject are presented and, in smaller measure, the treatment of the subject matter of such subdivisions has been determined by a desire to present each subject in such manner that nothing is taken for granted which has not been demonstrated or proven in some preceding section. It is believed that such an arrange ment is of the very highest importance, and that this, rather than any other consideration, perhaps, should determine the sequence of the various subdivisions of the general subject.
