Excerpt from A Table of the Christian and the Mohammedan Eras, From July 15th, A. D. 622, the Date of the Hejira, to A. D. 1900
In the majority of cases the dates given in the tables, in the earlier centuries, are one day earlier than those given in the tables of Mr. Stanley Lane Poole, but in some cases they agree. In the later years, 1851 to 1900, the day of new moon is given, and the dates are, consequently, two days earlier than those in Mahmud Pasha's Egyptian Calendar.
