Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from A Summary of the Law of Torts, or Wrongs Independent of Contract
I have been induced to write this Work by the fact, that there is no English Treatise on the Law of Torts, except that of Mr. Addison, which, how ever excellent as a digest and book of reference, is little fitted for the Student who desires to learn principles before entering into particulars.
