Publisher's Synopsis

Excerpt from A Study of Calorimetric Methods: Together With a Critical Study of the Peroxide Calorimeter

Their researches extended over a very large territory and many of the heat values obtained by them are accepted today. Their work, however, was mostly on the elementary substances.(2)
