For details of technical practice Lunge's well known treatise has been consulted.
A new and highly desirable feature of the book is the section on practical manipulation and qualitative analysis. Though this necessarily deals with the subject much less fully than another book of this series, yet it is hoped that by this means the practical and theoretical sides of the work will be brought into much more intimate connexion.
