First. When a murderer is put on the gallo to be hung, selfish cruelty is defeated and exposed; but ould an lute king order him to be kept dying fifty years, (not to say eternally, ) all good men, instead of rejoicing in the act, (as the Doctor says, would say the king was more cruel than the murderer had been. Why will God keep the sinner alive thus to suffer? (i will answer this in another remark.)
