More people have been in space or on top of Everest than those who visited all 193 nations around the world and surely no food critic can boast having personally tested so many food varieties over just one decade.
Eating is an important part of traveling; food, flavor and color are key to understanding others, to enter people's lives, to make comparisons, to acquire the pleasure of variety. In the kitchen we become friendly and we exchange opinions. Actually, we become friends, because the visitor sits at the table of local people and magically is no longer a stranger.
