Circumstances have. Forced on the Canterbury Diocesan Board of Education the necessity of reviewing their position in regard to Diocesan Inspection in this Diocese. And having been allowed to exercise some in?uence on their resolution to inaugurate the existing scheme in 1870, I am emboldened to state the considerations on which I trust the Board may be led to re-afirm it, so that it may take rank as an established institu tion of the Diocese.
