An extraordinary collection of photographs of the people of Palestine (and Israel) by John Tordai who has devoted much of the last twenty years to his subject. This is his second book on the subject and the emphasis is on the period since 1993 which covers the return of Yassir Arafat and the remnants of the Palestine Liberation Army to Gaza and the slow, deformed birth of the Palestinian Authority there and, later, in the West Bank.
