During his years in college as an undergraduate - 1987, Worcester Massachusetts, U.S.A. - and later while studying as a graduate for his Master degree - 1990, University of Eindhoven, The Netherlands - Richard A. Frank embarked in a conscious and committed effort to peel off, layer by layer, the ostensive complexity of the Universe in order to lay bare the simplicity of its inner laws. In 2016 he presented his initial findings in a collection of thirty-three essays titled Essays on Balance. Now, in his second work, he submits his initial conclusions on the workings of nature - from energy, entropy, time, space, change, life, and the universe - to rigorous philosophical criteria in order to present a theoretically sound thesis.
