Publisher's Synopsis
Life is short, and we may leave this world at any time, regardless of our age. We encourage you to read this translation of Qur'an with an open mind and benefit from its wisdom.
What is the Qur'an?
The word "Qur'an" means "The Recitation." It is the final divine scripture revealed by God to humanity through His last and final Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Qur'an is the unaltered word of God, preserved in its original language, Arabic, without any amendments, additions, or deletions for over 1,400 years.
Why Should One Read the Qur'an?
We did not choose to be born, nor did we decide where we would be born. This raises fundamental questions:
- Did someone create us?
- Why do we exist?
- What is the purpose of life?
- What happens after we die?
"The revelation of this Book is from the Lord of the worlds, in which there is no doubt!"
(Qur'an 32:2)
"O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord, a healing for what is in the hearts, and guidance and mercy for the believers."
(Qur'an 10:57)
