The Score contains four parts: the Tenor and Alto, from a compliance with custom, are writ ten in the Treble Clef the harmonist will, therefore, perceive that they appear an octave above their real pitch and that the Treble or Air, with the harmony for keyed instruments, is placed next to the Bass for the convenience of the performer.
