Clydeus Crumb is a prominent physician pushed to the end of his rope after he is robbed at gun point and left with a bruised ego. His friend, Detective Chad Green, is desperately trying to salvage his marriage after a torrid affair with a co-worker when he is assigned to investigate a string of murders, of which, he discovers that Crumb is the main suspect. Although all of the evidence points his way, Chad is reluctant to believe that Crumb is capable of being a murderer. However, when he finds his wife has been kidnapped his loyalty to Crumb subsides and their friendship is tested. In the end they will each find that the demons we struggle with the most are the ones within ourselves.
