Publisher's Synopsis

Anna-Louise takes the class hamster home for the holidays and starts a whole series of disasters. Her mother hates 'rats' and banishes the hamster to the dustbin area. Anna-Louise feels sorry for the little animal and builds it a mini safari park toplay in. Unfortunately, the hamster disappears. Anna-Louise and her friend Luke decide to make a fake hamster to give them time to find the real one, but the twins interfere and the fake hamster is presumed dead and given a decent burial! The real hamster turns up again and the resurrection must be explained.
