It has revived my recollection of several points with which I am not as familiar as I used to be, and instructed me in others about which I was not as well informed before. I shall often have occasion to use it officially; and, as a preliminary work for the teacher and student of jurisprudence, I do not doubt that it will supply the want, in every particular, indicated in the preface of the author.
